Bertha finally married the man of her dreams in a unique ceremony held at the World Bog-Snorkelling Championships in Wales.

They met at a Warbury home match when Bertha was working as a part-time steward and Scrapper jumped to her defence when a fan was rude to her. They got engaged in April 2004 after a whirlwind romance and a tongue tied proposal from Scrapper!

Bertha is a landscape gardener and she and her family share a rather strange hobby - bog snorkelling, which involves swimming along a trench dug out of a peat bog! She enters the world championships every year and hopes one day to win the crown.

Bertha's dad is a pig farmer from Gloucester and affectionately nicknamed her Piglet!
