Callum
didn't have the best start in life - his dad, an armed bank robber, was
murdered by gangsters and his mother Donna is a hooker. He was linked with
arson and car theft while still at school but was saved from a life of crime
when Nick spotted him in a schools cup final in 2000. Trouble
followed him to Warbury and he sparked a police hunt by running away with
girlfriend, Emma Langton after her parents tried to end their relationship. He
later served six months in prison with Scrapper after being framed for burglary
by the scheming Warbury ex-chairman Charles Bullion-Browne. After
his debut with Warbury in October 2001, he soon became a star striker enjoying
the playboy lifestyle with flash car, penthouse flat and a stream of football
groupies ready to jump into bed with him! He
had a brief fling with gold digger, Kate Riley but soon dumped her to get back
with childhood sweetheart, Emma. In
May 2004 tragedy struck, and Callum nearly died after being stabbed by an
intruder while helping a mentally unstable team mate move flat. Emergency
surgery saved his life but he lost his chance to play for Newcastle United who
had offered £4m for him before the stabbing. His
recovery took many months and it was November 2004 before he was fit enough to
rejoin the Warriors.
