The ever youthful Nick Jarvis is a true Warbury legend and before becoming manager he was the Warrior's best player, joining the team in 1993.

His football career got off the ground when he was approached by London team Thamesford while playing for his local team Oakvale. He nearly didn’t sign because he’d just passed his engineering exams and was about to go on holiday – but pressure from his dad and girlfriend, Jenny, soon made him see sense!

Shortly after joining Thamesford, Nick found himself wrongly accused of rape, having been set up by jealous team mate, Gary Lewis.

Luckily, Nick managed to prove his innocence but evil Lewis came back to haunt him many years later when he turned up in Warbury and framed Nick for murder!

During his long career with the Warriors, Nick has regularly threatened to leave, infuriated by tightwad Eric’s reluctance to splash out on new players. He even got as far as signing up with Aussie team Northern Spirit but on his first trip to Sydney, he was attacked by a shark and lost his leg below the knee! Miraculously, surgeons managed to re-attach the limb but it put paid to his career down under and he ended up back at Warbury.

In his younger days, Nick was a real babe magnet, bedding a bevy of beauties including financial whiz kid, Audrey C’Evere and team physio, Dr Jen. But these days, apart from a one night stand with Vanessa, it's very much home alone with a bottle of beer and a take-away!

To make matters even worse, his illicit night of passion with Vanessa resulted in the birth of Todd in December 2004.

Eric has discovered Todd is not his child and, luckily for Nick, has no wish to know the identity of the real father!

Nick again mixed business with pleasure by bedding Warbury Chairman Li Ming and was gutted when, acting on her father’s instruction, she ended the relationship.

The highlights of Nick’s 21 year football career have been lifting the FA Cup for Thamesford in 1994 and winning the Premiership play-off in 1999.
